A Letter from Coach Mooney:
To the Cherry Hill East Community,
After 20 years with the program, I am writing to announce my retirement as Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Coach at Cherry Hill East.
While our team achieved great success on the court, I believe the true essence of our time together extended beyond volleyball. In the years we shared, I had the privilege to witness the growth of a generation of young women who developed grit, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of personal improvement through athletics. Above everything else, it was a place where true, lasting friendships and memories were forged.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my assistant coaches, athletic directors, and our Cherry Hill East families for their unwavering support. For the past two decades, this program has been everything to me. I hope I have served it with the dedication and care it deserves.
To all of the current and former Cherry Hill East Volleyball players, thank you for allowing me to coach you over the years. It was an honor.
Yours,
Coach Scott
